Amesbury Junior Football Club
 
Amesbury Junior Football Club was founded in 1985, over the years the club has grown in numbers and has now become one of the largest in the South Wiltshire area boasting over 400 members.
 
Amesbury Junior FC welcomes players from the age of 6 to 18 and any ability. So if you wish your child to join a friendly family orientated club then please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

CHILD PROTECTION

 

The club's child protection officer is Mr Roger Batchelor. The following are the basic guidance rules in the child protection at Amesbury Junior Football Club:

 

To Identify good practice in football.

To ensure the Health and Safety of all children and adults. all children have the right to be safe and treated with dignity and respect at all times.

To report without delay any concerns about the welfare of a child to the above named officer.

DO NOT question the child reassure them. (Remember confidentiality).

To report any concern about poor practice and possible abuse within thee football setting.

 

Five main forms of abuse are:

Physical Abuse.

Neglect.

Sexual Abuse.

Emotional Abuse.

Bullying.

Ameabury Junior Football Club are very pleased  to announce the club has achieved FA Chartered Standard status .
The Chartered Standard certificate was awarded on the 16th December at the  clubs training ground by the Hon Secretary M G Benson from the Wiltshire County F A .
The club secretary Gary Charles would like to thank all who turned up for the presentation and thank you to you all  at the club for there part in achieving this award thank you
 
Quiz Night
There will be a quiz night on the last Friday of every month, at the Boscombe Rec club. All parents and adult members of Amesbury Junior FC are welcome.  This years supported charity is Help the Hero's so it would be good to get as many people to these events as possible.
 
Meeting
 
The next committee meeting will be on the Tuesday 8th December 09 @ 8.00pm at Boscombe Rec club. This is open to Managers and committee members
