Amesbury Junior Football Club
 
Amesbury Junior Football Club was founded in 1985, over the years the club has grown in numbers and has now become one of the largest in the South Wiltshire area boasting over 400 members.
 
Amesbury Junior FC welcomes players from the age of 6 to 18 and any ability. So if you wish your child to join a friendly family orientated club then please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

CHILD PROTECTION

 

The club's child protection officer is Mr Roger Batchelor. The following are the basic guidance rules in the child protection at Amesbury Junior Football Club:

 

To Identify good practice in football.

To ensure the Health and Safety of all children and adults. all children have the right to be safe and treated with dignity and respect at all times.

To report without delay any concerns about the welfare of a child to the above named officer.

DO NOT question the child reassure them. (Remember confidentiality).

To report any concern about poor practice and possible abuse within thee football setting.

 

Five main forms of abuse are:

Physical Abuse.

Neglect.

Sexual Abuse.

Emotional Abuse.

Bullying.

Fair play Awards
The fair play awards on 3rd & 4th of May was a great success, with a big thank you to all the people who helped throughout the weekend.
 
PRESENTATIONS
The Under 8 and Under 10 annual presentation will be held on the Amesbury Junior Football festival on th 31st May after the tournament.
 
The Under 11's, Under 12's and Under 14 Lions presentation will be held on the evening of Saturday 7th June.
 
The Under 13's, Under 14 Tigers, Under 15's and Under 16's will be held on the 14th June
 
Both of these events will be held at the Boscombe Down Rec club.  
 
 
THE AMESBURY JUNIOR FC AGM WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY
12th JUNE ALL. ALL MANAGERS ARE TO ATTENED

Over the past few weeks there have been rumors that the club will be closing or amalgamating with other teams, these are not true. Amesbury Juniors was founded to be a community football club and will carry on being so, welcoming new members of any standard.

Training
 
All Managers and parents are to note that the last training session for the 2007/2008 season will be the 22nd May 2008.  Training for the 2008/2009 season will commence from the 11th August.
 
Quiz Night
